In 1996, our founders entered the industry by opening a fast food restaurant in Leicester, England. Over time, they continued their operations by opening 17 different branches in cities such as Northampton, Rugby, Hinckley, and Leamington SPA in the UK. In 2010, noticing the lack of fried chicken products in Turkey, our company founders decided to expand their operations to Turkey under the MAKFRY brand.
After extensive R&D efforts, Makfry started the patented production of pressure fryers essential for making Fried Chicken. They also completed the R&D of the breading products, the second major ingredient for Fried Chicken, filling the industry gap with 100% local production. MAKFRY GROUP, which produces the equipment and food products necessary for making Fried Chicken, continues to popularize its products with the CTR Chicken restaurant chain brand. They keep introducing new products by considering other deficiencies in the sector with ongoing R&D efforts.
